Three schools shine above the rest in this week's Food for Thought. Christ the King, Irons Middle School and Smith Elementary all have something to brag about. They were all flawless in their last health inspection.
Open less than two months and already Buca's Sports Grill and Bar is adding top performer to their menu of pizza and calzones, burgers and appetizers. They're located at 5015 University.
You can find many hidden treasures inside KK's Craft Mall at 6409 Indiana, but nestled in the back is where you can truly indulge. From homemade soups and sandwiches to yummy desserts, Granny Katz Tearoom offers lunch Tuesday through Saturday and servers it with a side of perfection.
And finally this fast food restaurant takes the crown. Burger King at 313 University had a royal inspection with zero critical violations.

Now to the only school with a critical violation.
Inspectors say hot food was not at least 135 degrees at Frenship Willow Bend Elementary. According to the report, the violation was corrected at the time of the inspection.
Now to this week's only low performer.
Josie's at 3312 Ave. Q had six critical violations.
Management says all violations have been corrected. According to the report, most were corrected during the inspection.
