NewsChannel 11's most wanted kicks-off with one of the most wanted men in Lubbock County. This one isn't going to be easy because he's been hiding for seven years, but it's time to find him.
Thomas Crumpler is a former band director at Lubbock-Cooper High School and at Coronado High School.
In February 2001, investigators say Crumpler became friends with at least three, teenage, male students. He allegedly gave the boys, alcohol and watched pornographic videos and masturbated in front of them.
A witness told investigators that Crumpler also performed oral sex on another juvenile. When police were notified, Crumpler disappeared.
Now, Thomas Crumpler is the first on NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted Wall, and he could be up for a while. Authorities say Crumpler may be living in the northeast, possibly Maryland, but they believe he could be in contact with some of his old students.
With your help, we could move Crumpler to NewsChannel 11's Captured Wall.
If you know where Thomas Crumpler is, or how to find him, one call can make the difference. Tips on this case go to the Lubbock Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
