Alleged Drunk Driver Slams into Utility Pole

A suspected drunk driver is behind bars following an accident in northwest Lubbock. Police say the driver of an SUV slammed into a traffic signal pole around 12:50 a.m. Monday.

The accident severely damaged the front of the vehicle. The driver was not injured. But, police arrested him on suspicion of drunk driving.
