Fire Destroys Lubbock County Home - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The investigation continues into a fire in northeast Lubbock. The fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. Sunday at a house on C.R. 5500, about 6 miles north of Idalou. The house was being remodeled, and was currently vacant.

Firefighters from New Deal, Idalou, and Abernathy helped put out the flames. Investigators believe the cause was accidental. The structure was a total loss.
