Suspected DWI Accident In Southwest Lubbock

One person is behind bars following an accident early Tuesday morning in southwest Lubbock.

Police say the driver of a pickup truck, Daniel Marc Kidwell, 21, rear ended another vehicle around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday, and then hit a guy-wire at 82nd and Slide.

The driver of the second vehicle, James Pierce, 49, was not injured.

Police arrested Kidwell at the scene. He is now charged with driving while intoxicated.
