14th Annual Viva Aztlan Festival

Lubbock Centro Aztlan will have celebrate the 14th Annual Viva Aztlan Festival on March 14 and 15.

The event will be held at the Lubbock Civic Center, and will bring into Lubbock some 20 Ballet Folkloricos from all over Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Chicago and even Mexico to compete for awards.

A 15 piece Mariachi group from El Paso is scheduled for a concert at the Civic Center Theater on March 14.

The event is funded by Civic Lubbock Inc and the Texas Commission on the Arts.
