Authorities Capture Roger Lee Mackey - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Brownfield Police have one of NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted in custody.

Less than 24-hours after we put Roger Lee Mackey on NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted Wall, he turned himself in to police.  Mackey is a convicted sex offender, and police wanted him for failure to register.

Brownfield Police gave us a call Thursday afternoon. Chief Tony Serbantez told us Mackey called them Wednesday night, after our segment aired.

Mackey told police his family saw NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted, gave him a call, and he decided to turn himself in.

Mackey is now in police custody, and he's also moved to NewsChannel 11's Captured Wall.
