Police say the man whose body was found in a North Lubbock park Saturday afternoon was reported missing five days ago.
The death investigation continues, but authorities don't believe foul play was involved.
Police say a woman and a boy found the body of 45-year-old Michael Wade Thomas in a ravine near the 1100 Block of Cesar Chavez Drive around 4:45pm Saturday. We're told it appears the body had been in the ravine for less than 24 hours.
Police tell us it may take awhile to find out the cause of death, but an autopsy should give officials more clues.
