Man Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Wife

The Mexican National accused of stabbing his wife in the head last month is now behind bars.  

The details surrounding the arrest are sketchy, but we do know that Lubbock police arrested Martin Gordillo Saturday night. Sources say he was returning from Mexico.

The 50-year-old is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  

Police say Gordillo's wife had just gone to bed when he attacked her - stabbing her several times in the head at their home in the 5500 Block of 101st Street. She was treated and released.
