New findings presented at the meeting of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery found the fat to be rich in stem cells, which could be used in the future to treat anything from a broken bone to cancer. The collagen could also have a use in future cosmetic treatments. Experts stress that these results are preliminary and will need to be followed over time.

  • White-Coat Hypertension

If you get a little anxious or fearful during your routine doctor's visits, the result can cause your blood pressure to take an unexpected spike. It's called 'White-Coat Hypetension', and it can lead to inaccurate blood pressure readings. That's why the experts at the Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas suggest patients with high blood pressure should regularly monitor their condition at home. They also recommend regular blood pressure checks for adolescents with a family history of hypertension.
