The Clinton Campaign has opened a Lubbock office. Located on 4322 50th Street, NewsChannel 11 is told this location will serve as a meeting place for Hillary supporters and volunteers.
"Our campaign is deeply committed to Texas and I am thrilled we are opening an office in Lubbock," said Hillary Clinton. "As I travel across Texas I am constantly struck by the people I meet and the stories they share. Like the people of this great state, I believe in faith, family, and hard work. I am honored to have support in Lubbock."
"Throughout the state, thousands of people are coming together in support of Hillary," said Hillary's Texas Chairman Gary Mauro. "We are deeply committed to this state and believe if the people of Lubbock stand with Hillary that Hillary will do well in Texas."
The campaign will host a Steering Committee meeting Tuesday night in the office where supporters and volunteers will discuss the importance of voting early. Monday, the campaign kicked off its early voting drive throughout Lubbock and is encouraging supporters to hit the polls early. The campaign also released a toll-free phone number - 1-866-939-VOTE - for Texans to use to find their early voting site. Early voting will take place in Texas from February 19 through February 29.
