Lubbock Police Investigate Scalded Infant - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A three month old baby is hospitalized with third degree burns over more than half of his body, now Lubbock police want to know how it happened.

The incident happened Monday afternoon, in the 3400 block of East Baylor. According to police reports, the baby boy was scalded as his father gave him a bath.

The infant is now being treated at University Medical Center's burn unit. His father was released pending the outcome of an investigation.
