One Killed And Another Seriously Injured In Two Different Motorcycle Wrecks
Two motorcycle accidents in Lubbock Saturday leave one dead and another with serious injuries.
37-year-old John Yarbrough died as a result of injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident Saturday morning on US 84 near 4121 East Slaton road. Yarbrough was traveling Westbound on his Harley Davidson when he crashed into the back of this 2002 Saturn.
Lubbock Police say Yarbrough was not wearing a helmet. He was taken by ambulance to UMC with critical injuries where he later passed away. The driver of the Saturn received minor injuries.
Then around 6:00 p.m. Saturday another motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after wrecking near the Clovis Highway and North Loop 289. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
