Refinery Ahead of Schedule in Big Spring

The Alon Refinery in Big Spring may be reactivated sooner than originally expected. Workers are still sorting through debris, but expect to get the plant running months ahead of schedule. This week crews have been busy trying to get rid of all the excess fuel. That will allow them to expedite the clean-up process.

Alon officials say they're thankful the businesses they work with on a daily basis have been helping. Alon managers say they plan to use all their workers to make quick progress.
