Morning Rush Diverted by Semi Accident on South Loop 289 - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A serious accident on the South Loop tied up traffic Thursday morning, though it's amazing no one was seriously hurt.

Police say the semi ran into the Ford Explorer around 8:00 a.m., and flipped it over. It happened on the access road of South Loop 289, in front of Scholastic - just west of Interstate 27.

Traffic was diverted until the wreckers could clean up the area. Fortunately, the driver suffered only minor injuries.
