If you're looking for a top performing Chinese restaurant - look no further. This is a place where legends, great food and perfect scores are made. Legends of China at 6302 Frankford is now a two-time top performer.

This week's only shining star cafeteria is Stewart Elementary is at the head of the class with a perfect score on its latest health inspection.

Here is a complete list of the restaurants and their violations for the week ending on 2/28/08.

Three schools each had one critical violation.

At Murfee Elementary, lunch meat was not 41 degrees or colder. Popcorn chicken was 107 degrees at Roy Roberts Elementary. Hot foods must be at least 135 degrees.

And at Atkins Middle School a toxic item was not labeled. According to the reports, all violations were corrected during the inspections.  

Now to this week's only low performer.

George's at 6914 82nd Street had seven critical violations.

  • Raw hamburger patties, sliced ham and tomatoes were above the safe cold temperature of 41 degrees.
  • Refried beans and mashed potatoes were not at least 135 degrees.
  • Ham did not have an expiration.
  • Cleaning supplies and condiments were stored in both hand sinks.
  • There was also no soap or paper towels at the sinks.
  • The sinks were dirty. Food contact surfaces were also dirty.
  • A toxic item was not labeled properly.

Management was not available, but an employee told us that all violations were corrected during the inspection. The report shows that as well.
