Saturday Was Severe Weather Awareness Day

NewsChannel 11 meteorologists John Robison, Steve Divine and Cary Allen helped program weather radios at Severe Weather Awareness Day Saturday.

The crew also helped sign people up for First Alert Thunder Call.

The event held at the Science Spectrum included activities for kids, such as face-painting, prizes and experiments. There was also storm spotter certification training from the National Weather Service.
