Police Identify Victims in Monday's Fatal Collision - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The names of the two victims killed in Monday's collision have been released.

Marvin Eugene Goree, age 46, and Terry Wayne Goree, age 47, were brothers from Lubbock. Both were killed when a tractor-trailer slammed into their pickup at North Loop 289 and Interstate 27. Both died at the scene.

Police say the semi ran a stop sign at that intersection, struck the pickup, and crushed it against a concrete pillar. 

Aerocare flew the driver of the semi, Eric Figueroa, age 26, of California to Covenant Medical Center. His companion, Judy Suzana Lopez-Valencia to University Medical Center. Both remain in critical condition Monday night.
