List of Ordinances Pertaining to Off-Campus Parties

The City of Lubbock has released a brochure informing college students of local ordinances and precautions related to off-campus parties.

The brochure provides helpful hints on keeping parties safe.  It also includes information about fines relating to noise violations and excessive alcohol consumption.  The brochure is available at the offices of the Vice President for Student Affairs or Dean of Students at Texas Tech University, the Lubbock Police Department at 916 Texas Avenue, and at the City of Lubbock's website.

"Our goal is to educate students and encourage responsible actions," said Police Chief Dale Holton.

A copy of the brochure may be downloaded from the City's website, (click here).
