South Plains College Receives $1.6 Million Grant

There is some exciting news for South Plains College and West Texas. Wednesday, SPC received a presidential grant worth more than $1.6 million.

Of the more than 340 schools that applied, fewer than 70 community colleges nationwide received the grant. The money from the "Community-based Job Training Grant" will help prepare students for high-growth, high-demand industries in our area.
