Teen Injured in Hale County Wreck

A 17 year-old is hospitalized in Lubbock following an accident in Hale County. DPS troopers say the teen was driving east on County Road 54, about six miles west of Abernathy, around 1:00 a.m. Monday when he hit a guard rail. His car flipped over and landed in a field. Aerocare flew the teen to UMC in Lubbock with serious injuries.
