Lubbock Teen Arraigned on Murder Charges - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The teen who told NewsChannel 11 last week he shot a man in east Lubbock was arraigned on murder charges Tuesday.  

Ricky Pena III, 19, is accused of fatally shooting Joshua Sarate, 40. Police say sarate was fatally shot, after he walked up to Pena's car in the 500 block of East 36th Street last Monday.

Pena called NewsChannel 11 last week, and said he shot Sarate in self defense, after an argument over money. He remains in the Lubbock County jail.
