Rosendo Rodriguez Back in Lubbock Court

The man accused of capital murder in the death of a pregnant woman, was back in a Lubbock courtroom Tuesday.

Rosendo Rodriguez attended a hearing where his attorneys withdrew two motions to suppress statements about his two previous attorneys being ineffective. The motion was granted, keeping the attorney-client privilege of his former counsel intact.

Rodriguez is on trial for the murder of Summer Baldwin and her unborn child. His case was moved to Randall County, due to all the extensive media coverage in the case.

The trial is scheduled to begin Monday, March 24.
