Miniature Horse Killed By Dogs

Another miniature horse has fallen victim to a dog attack in Lubbock County.

Monday morning two mixed breed dogs attacked one of the horses in a pen near 124th and Avenue P. The pen contained two miniature horses and a full-sized horse. The other horses were unharmed.

A neighbor saw the attack and shot one of the dogs in the shoulder, but both dogs fled the scene.

One of the dogs was found at its owner's house. The owner released the dog to authorities and it was euthanized.

The other dog has not been found, and its ownership is not  known.
