Deadly Wreck in Central Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

One person is dead following an accident in central Lubbock. Police say a car drove hit a utility pole around 3:50 a.m. Friday at 1524 27th street.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. His 24 year old female passenger was hospitalized with minor injuries. There is no word on what caused the wreck.
