Happier Marriages, Healthier Blood Pressure Readings

Happily married people tend to have healthier blood pressure readings and previous studies have found that married people are, in general, healthier than single adults. New research from Brigham Young University, and published in The Annals of Behavioral Medicine, found that folks who are unsatisfied in their marriages had higher blood pressure than singles.

More than 200 married people and about 100 single adults participated in the study- most were Caucasian.
