Stephanie Jones Expected to Plead Guilty to Kidnapping - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

She is accused of kidnapping a Lubbock newborn almost two years ago, and Monday Stephanie Jones is expected to plead guilty to charges of kidnapping and abandoning a child.

She is accused of posing as a nurse at University Medical Center to befriend the family of a newborn. She then allegedly went to the family's home and kidnapped baby Priscilla Maldanado in June of 2006.

Following a nationwide Amber Alert, Priscilla was found a day later abandoned in a carport with temperatures in the triple digits.

Jones' trial had been postponed four times.
