Multi-Agency Drug Bust Across Lubbock

NewsChannel 11 has learned at least three people are in jail and more could follow in a multi-agency drug bust in Lubbock.

NewsChannel 11 cameras were on the scene as authorities searched a house in the 1500 block of 23rd Street Thursday morning. NewsChannel 11 was told several law enforcement agencies are involved, including the drug enforcement administration, U.S. Marshals, Lubbock Sheriff's Office, and Lubbock Police Department.

Officers also searched an apartment in the 7200 block of 73rd street, just before 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

The US District Attorney's Office say officers executed arrest and search warrants at several locations in Lubbock. NewsChannel 11 was told 14 people were named in the indictments that were sealed until Thursday morning.

All face charges of conspiracy to distribute and intent to distribute more than 5 kilos of cocaine.
