Plainview Infant Death Under Investigation

Hale County authorities are looking into the death of a Plainview infant.

Emergency responders were called to the Rio Concho mobile home park on Sunday. When they arrived they found a 3-month-old boy dead. Authorities tell NewsChannel 11 that  the child's step-father was watching the infant and three other children at the time.

An autopsy was performed on Monday, and investigators are waiting on those results.

Child Protective Services has custody of the other children who lived in the home pending the outcome of this investigation.
