Memorial Services Planned for Brandon Byrd

A memorial service is planned for an Irons Middle School student killed in a motocross accident.

Authorities say Brandon Byrd, 14, suffered a severe head injury while performing a jump over the weekend.

His memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Friday at Lakeridge United Methodist Church.
