Lubbock Police detectives were in Missouri Thursday questioning a suspect in the murder of a South Plains College student.

Friends found Brad McIver, 19, dead in his north Lubbock apartment last month.

Authorities arrested Nathan Lee Lemer, 19, in Salem, Missouri on Tuesday. Police say Lemer does not intend to fight extradition. So they hope to return him to Lubbock in the next few days.

In the meantime, investigators say they have not ruled out the possibility of another suspect in this case.
