A Lubbock County grand jury has decided there is enough evidence to send two murder suspects to trial.

Tuesday, the grand jury indicted 19-year-old Nathan Lemer. Lemer is charged with capital murder for the death of 19-year-old Bradford McIver. Friends found the South Plains College student stabbed to death inside his north Lubbock apartment on March 17th.

Investigators tracked Lemer to Salem, Missouri. Lubbock Police tell NewsChannel 11 local authorities left Tuesday to bring Lemer back to Lubbock.

The grand jury also indicted 19-year-old Ricky Pena III for murder. Pena is charged with the shooting death of 40-year-old Joshua Sarate.

Investigators say Sarate was fatally shot, after he walked up to Pena's car in the 500 Block of East 36th Street on March 10th. Pena called NewsChannel 11, and said he shot Sarate in self defense after an argument over money.  He remains in the Lubbock County Jail.
