Cleaning House Can Improve Mental Health

If running is not your thing, household chores may be good for you and your mental health.   

A study of nearly 20,000 Scottish men and women found that even just 20 minutes of house cleaning a week was enough to boost mood, lift spirits, lower stress, and anxiety levels.  The study adds that if 20 minutes of chores can help you, imagine what more regular activity can do to lower the risk of psychological distress
