Ragin' Cajun Raises Money For Special Olympics

If you're in the mood for great food, fun and music then head out to the annual Ragin' Cajun benefit for the Special Olympics.

The Louisiana style party runs until 10 p.m. Saturday at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. The best part it benefits a great cause.

"All the money that we raise for this event helps fund Special Olympic activities. Our competitions, the equipment for the athletes, sponsorships and scholarships for athletes to go on to the next level," says Deminy Highley, the Special Olympics Area Director.

Celebrity servers included Mayor David Miller, Councilman Todd Klein and our very own Cary Allen.
