Special Prosecutor Files to Retry Callie Long - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Attorneys have filed paperwork to retry Callie Long on intoxicated manslaughter and aggravated assault.

Special prosecutor Rod Hobson filed a letter Monday asking Judge Jim Bob Darnell to retry Long.

The Lubbock realtor was convicted of intoxication manslaughter in 2005, but that decision was later overturned. Last month, a jury found her guilty of failure to stop and render aid, and she received five years probation.
