Smith Wins NBA Sportsmanship Award - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Steve Smith of San Antonio has won the NBA's Sportsmanship Award. He's the third player from the Spurs to be chosen for the honor.

The award is voted on by a panel of national media members. Also considered for the award were P.J. Brown of the Hornets, LaPhonso Ellis of the Miami Heat, and Shawn Marion of the Phoenix Suns.

Smith says he'll donate his $25,000 prize to Reading is Fundamental Incorporated.
