The Dallas Stars have re-signed veteran left-wing Kirk Muller to a one year contract for next season. No terms were released.
The 36 year-old lineman scored 10 goals and 20 assists in 78 games with Dallas last season. The 6' 0", 205 pound Muller also totaled 28 penalty minutes.
Muller first signed with the Stars as a free agent in December 1999. The New Jersey Devils made him the second overall pick in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
Since then, the six time All-Star has scored 356 goals and 597 assists with 1,205 penalty minutes in almost 1,300 games. He was a member of the Montreal Canadiens' Stanley Cup title team of 1993.
