LCU Signs Estacado's Al Duvall

The Lubbock Christian University Athletic Department and Basketball Head Coach John Copeland are pleased to announce the signing of Estacado High School's Al Duvall to the Lubbock Christian University men's basketball team.  The official signing took place Wednesday afternoon at Estacado High School.

Duvall is a two-time Lubbock Avalanche-Journal All-City Player of the Year recipient, who became Estacado's all-time leading scorer after averaging 19.4 points per game this past season.  The two-time First Team All-Region member was a First Team All-State member last season and is a four-year All-District 4-4A selection.  The 6'1" guard led Estacado to a 27-4 season this past season, and earned his second District 4-4A Most Valuable Player honor.

The Chaps wrapped up their past season with a 16-15 record, which included a Sooner Athletic Conference tournament victory.  The Chaps ranked 18th in the NAIA in scoring defense, with an allowance of 66.2 points per game.

Please contact Chris Due or Basketball Head Coach John Copeland for any additional information or comments towards the basketball signing. Additional Chaps basketball information can be found by clicking here.
