Fire Damages East Lubbock Home - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

An early morning fire damaged a home in east Lubbock. A police officer noticed the home at 519 39th street burning around 12:30 a.m. Friday. He notified firefighters, who arrived within moments to battle the flames.

The fire damaged part of the home and the garage. It also destroyed a car. No one was home at the time of the fire. There is no word on what caused the blaze.
