In just a few weeks, a suspect will stand trial for the murder of an elderly Lubbock man.
Darold Simmons is accused of killing Ross Bennie Mosley, 72. He was just 19 years-old at the time, he is now 20.
Mosley was found face down in the front yard of a home on East Cornell last February. An officer found Simmons, as he allegedly sexually assaulted a taxi driver in the back of her cab. Simmons is now charged with capital murder.
