There is no end in sight to the spike in Texas gas prices. Prices at the pump continued to climb deeper into record territory Friday.
NewsChannel 11 spotted prices as high as $3.49 at Flying-J, but just as we pulled out our camera - the price dropped to $3.45. Other stations around town now average $3.40 per gallon.
But despite those numbers, AAA says Texas still has among the lowest average retail gas prices in the nation.
In case you were wondering, California leads the pack with an average of $3.82.
