City Council District 4 Candidates Face Off

The cost of the visitor's center was also a hot topic during Wednesday night's District 4 debate.

Candidates Jerry Bell, Paul Beane and Tom Keisling faced off on several issues Wednesday evening that included the city budgets, capital improvements, downtown development and growth of the city. Their answers varied, but there was one thing they all agreed on.

"I believe the visitor's center is a lot of money," said candidate Tom Keisling.

"I am also concerned about the cost of it," candidate Jerry Bell said.

"Visitors center: Too much money. In the wrong place," candidate Paul Beane said.

The district 4 seat is currently held by outgoing councilwoman Phyllis Jones.
