A new non-contact thermometer might make it a lot easier to take your baby's temperature.

Using infrared technology, the Thermofocus® 5-in-1 thermometer takes a baby's temperature in one second when simply pointed at the forehead.  

In addition to body temperature, the thermometer is designed to read the temperature of a baby's milk, food, room temperature, and bath water. The makers say this non-contact thermometer can even help detect circulatory problems, inflammation, and infection.
