City Council District 2 Candidate Addresses Accusations From Opponent - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A candidate in the upcoming election is defending himself. City Council District Two candidate Armando Gonzales says allegations that his opponents are making about his past are not true.

Current City Councilman Floyd Price, who is running against Gonzales, accuses him of having a checkered past including: driving with a suspended license, not paying property taxes, and passing bad checks. 

Gonzales says he did pass insufficient checks, but says he has since paid everything off including fines. Gonzales did not deny the allegations, but called them misdemeanors of the lowest order.
