A discreet drug patch may soon make treatment easier for kids diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The Methypatch continuously delivers the active ingredient in Ritalin right through the skin. It eliminates the need for kids to take medication at school. It also allows kids to receive treatment without the fear of ridicule or teasing.
The Methypatch is now in phase three clinical trials. If it is approved by the FDA, it could be available sometime next year.
