Doctors Still Not Checking Blood Pressure Regularly

According to a new study at Stanford, where researchers checked all specialties from dermatology to cardiology, not enough doctors are screening patients for high blood pressure. 

They found that blood pressure is checked in 56% of patient visits.  However, since high blood pressure is often called the "silent killer", the Stanford researchers are suggesting blood pressure be a routine check in every office visit.
