Help Authorities Locate Manuel Medrano Jr.

Authorities are searching for a murder suspect, considered extremely dangerous. They're looking for 34-year-old Manuel Medrano Jr.  He's accused of fatally shooting a Snyder man Sunday night.

The Scurry County Sheriff asked NewCchannel 11's Most Wanted to profile this case. They're hoping your tips can help catch this suspect, quickly. Manuel Medrano is now one of NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted. Sheriff Darren Jackson tells us a Scurry County grand jury indicted Medrano Monday on first degree murder charges.

Deputies were called to a home south of Snyder around 9 p.m. Sunday in response to shots fired at a party. Authorities say several people were involved in a fight using baseball bats and sticks. They say Medrano then pulled a gun and shot 37-year-old Angel Juarez in the neck.

Juarez was pronounced dead at Cogdell Memorial Hospital at 9:50 p.m. Sunday.  Now, investigators need your tips to help put this accused murderer behind bars.

Sheriff Jackson tells NewsChannel 11 that Medrano is still considered armed and extremely dangerous. If you see him, you're asked to call local law enforcement immediately. You can contact the Scurry County Sheriff's Office directly at (325) 573-3551.
