Consider This... Get Out and Vote - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Early voting has ended for the May 10th city elections. And if you're one of the thousands that voted early, congratulations!

There are important races to be decided including Lubbock mayor, two city council seats and one Lubbock school district seat.

If you didn't vote early consider this; surprisingly, I'm told turn out for early voting this year is lower than last year. So if you didn't get around to it the past couple of weeks, make an appointment this Saturday.

Do the research and let your voice be heard. After all, these important city leaders will be chosen only by those who show up and cast a ballot.
