Wanted Lubbock Suspect At-Large After Oklahoma Release

One of NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted moves from the captured wall, back to the wanted wall.

Jon Ray Rodriguez, 29, is the accused kidnapper who turned himself in to Oklahoma authorities earlier this month. Police say Rodriguez beat and nearly choked his former girlfriend to death back in February, and then held her against her will. He was later arrested, but posted bail after he allegedly tricked authorities into lowering his bond by sending e-mails from his ex-girlfriend's account.

Following his surrender, Rodriguez refused extradition and was released by an Oklahoma judge. He was ordered to turn himself in to Lubbock authorities by noon Friday, but has yet to show up.

If you know the whereabouts of Jon Ray Rodriguez, authorities urge you to give Crime Line a call, at (806) 741-1000.
