Lubbock Jury Sentences Intoxicated Assault Suspect to Life in Prison - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

After deliberating for just six minutes, a Lubbock jury sentenced Joseph Jeffrey to life in prison.

Jeffrey was drunk on September 23, 2007, when he hit a truck and crashed into a pole in the 4600 block of North Loop 289. The driver of the truck, Mary Yanez was treated for critical injuries.

Jeffery did have previous offenses.
